Vincent DAVID, winner of the Simone and Cino Del Duca Foundation – Institut de France Interpretation Prize awarded by the Academy of Fine Arts, is an essential personality in the current contemporary landscape. 

Recognized composer, he won the Grand Prix Lycéens et collégiens for Composers in 2021 .  His music evolves quickly, and represents a personal fusion between assumed influences and modernity of language. He distinguished himself with his piece Artefact premiered in 2022 by the Ensemble InterContemporain at the Cité de le Musique in Paris. 

Published by Billaudot, its eclectic catalog includes orchestral and ensemble pieces, concertos, chamber music as well as pieces for solo instruments. ​

He has, among others, commissions from the Ensemble InterContenporain, the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria, the Navy band of Washington, the Tana quartet, the Dammerüng and Catch trios, the Habanera quartet…

​Prestigious competitions or organizations also order pieces from him such as the International Adolphe Sax Competition in Dinant, the Andorra SaxFest competition in 2017, the world saxophone congresses in Zagreb and Las Palmas. ​  

He also proposes an educational repertoire with his collection Jeu de Cartes.

as a conductor, he began a career conducting the Orquestra Nacional Clàssica d’Andorra, the Saxophone Ensemble of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and premiered his music ensemble Inpulse in 2024.  ​

His discography as a composer begins with the album Pulse (Klarthe), it also consists of: Third Round by Bruno Mantovani as soloist with the TM+ ensemble (Aeon), Boulez/Berio (Aeon), Crossover (Le chant du Roseau), French Style (Le chant du Reedeau), Flow (Nomadmusic), Fireworks (Le chant du reed),   ​

Professor at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, he gives numerous Master Classes around the world and is invited by the most prestigious universities. He recently published his educational collection “La technique du son” with Billaudot.
